First Project for Chelsey

So 4th grade has already shown it is going to be different for Chelsey. She got her first project that she had to complete and had a week to do it. They are studying California History and Geography in Social Studies. She had to use at home materials to make up the 4 regions in California. SHe had fun doing this.



The 4 California regions. Mountain, Valley, Desert, and Coast.


We used Salt with Blue food coloring to make the Coast, Oregano to make the valley, popcorn for the mountains, and oatmeal for the desert.

We had no problem with all the other regions but the Coast. What the heck was blue in the house that we could use....I came up with Salt with Blue food coloring...It worked!
