Last week we had the fortune to have some close friends come out and visit us here in Cali. We drove down to San Diego and met Amie and her family for a day at the beach. The girls love the ocean. Each one of our girls love the beach for different reasons. Chelsey loves to collect sea shells and play in the sand. Kylee loves to chase the waves. Everytime we leave, we have to drag her away...kicking and screaming. She is our beach Bum. Issy loves the sand. She could care less about the water. As long as she has a shovel and pail...she is happy!

Amie and Justin have been friends for close to twenty years. Amie is like Justin's adopted little sister and her family is extremely close with us as well. It was so nice to be able to just spend some quality time again with Justin's adopted family.

The kids had a blast playing with each other. They spent a good amount of time just digging in the sand. But Kylee was never too far from the water...lol

Tina, Amie's mom spent most of the time playing with the kids in the sand. While the rest of us adults played in the ocean. The waves took us over a couple times. At the end of the day we were all covered in sand and had the taste of salt water in our mouths. But what a great time it was.

We LOVE it here in California, with the beach at our fingertips, and the sun always shining!
