A girls room for sure

A year ago Santa brought Chelsey her bedding. It is zebra print and pink leopard! Well Chelsey's bed is a canopy bed as well. However her canopy didn't match her new bedding. So I was frustrated on what to do. My Mom said to me...why don't you just have Corinne make you a canopy. I was like...Oh yeah huh! So I give her the old canopy to use as a pattern. After much anticapation for the new one..Here i am thinking an idea of what it would be like. Yeah she blew me away with it. It is absolutely gorgeous! Then she added in Pillows, pillow cases, curtains, and found a wall pin board and pencil holders to match and thought..what the heck..I will get those for her to. So here take alook at the fabulous creation my dear mother in law created for Chelsey! I am so thankful to have such a great Mother in law and Grandma to my girls!

The gorgeous curtain!

The pretty decorative pillows and the pillow case (lighter pink leopard one) Its fuzzy too!

All her pretty pillows, Angie did make her the one in back with zebra and flowers.

Turkey Tango

At the end of every month the school does an awards assembly and if it falls around a major holiday they will have a grade preform a couple songs for it. This time it was the 1st grades turn for the Thanksgiving preformance. Ky was going to be singing the Turkey Tango and Alberque Turkey. The turkey tango was her favorite and she was hoping that she was going to be selected as the girl from her class to dance the tango with a boy. Each class selected one boy and girl to do the tango. Ky's wishes came true. Not only that...but she was selected to dance with Gabriel! Her little elementary love. The dance and number is just priceless! Kylee enjoyed it so much! WHile watching her preform, Gabriels mom sat next to me. Now I have only met her once before. When she sat down she said "Your Kylee's Mom aren't you?" I said "Yes". She said"Oh we just love Ky. We hear about her all the time. She seems like such a doll!" Then Justin noticed that Her and me were dressed similiar. He laughed and said did you guys call each other. During it I did tease him and say look were sitting with the inlaws. He was not happy!! Ha ha. Oh well! But she had the time of her life, and Gabriel enjoyed it too!!

Doing the Turkey Tango...such a preformer!

Update

So here is an update on my adventure with trying to be healthy and lose weight. Its been a little difficult lately because I have not seen much results on the scale. I've stayed about the same weight. But this weekend when I went and had a girls night with Angie we went shopping to get some pants for me. I found out I am a size down in my jeans. I was a little amazed! I'm continueing to walk at least 3 times a week, plus eating healthy as well! So....I will keep it going and hopefully see more!

Oak Glen

On Sunday we went up to Oak Glen. Oak Glen is this small piece of country in the middle of Big city southern california. It rests up towards the Yucaipa Mountains. It had all these little ranches and villages to visit. We went to Oak Tree Village, it has boutique shops, a museum, petting zoo's, entertainment, and nice Apple Pie! We had so much fun up there! Deffinantly going to back again especially when Justin's family is out here next week. It was like being back home in Utah!

Justin and Mike not too happy about listening to the country music singer but did anyways because Ang and I enjoyed it.

Justin bought food to feed the deer.

CHelsey was a little worried that they wouldn't let her on becuase she was too old. But the guy was very nice and let her join! She loved it.

Ky had so much fun!

Issy is so happy to finally be on the pony. She begged us the whole time we were there to have a pony ride

Morgan's Birthday Party

On Saturday we went out to our friend Kris and Aj's for Morgan's 9th birthday party. Morgans party was a "Minute to Win it game" theme. They played several games that they had to do it in one minute. Aj had all sorts of different prizes and the kids all had a blast. I video'ed some of the games they played as well as took a couple pics. It was so much fun to watch. Then we ended it of course with Cake and Ice cream. I'm so greatful that we have Kris, Aj and the girls in our lives. They are awesome and never a dull moment around Kris..ha ha! Happy Birthday Mo!

Morgan and Chelsey. Morgan just turned 9 and has become quite close with the girls.

Chelsey did it..she completed the task

Ky was one of the winners of this challenge.

The girls doing the "Face the Cookie" challenge. Object of the game is to move the cookie from your forhead to your mouth using only facial muscles. This was hilarious to watch.

HALLOWEEN

The girls and Us had a great Halloween. We started it off by making The most awesome Pumpkin Cookies ever on Saturday and then heading to my friend Leahs home for Scary Movies. The kids watched Hocus Pocus and Haunted Mansion inside. While the adults went outside to the backyard and watched Paranormal Activity and The Orphan on the big screen. P.A. was ok...We didn't stay for the Orphan I am not into scary movies and one is enough for me..ha ha. But the cookies were a hit!

Then Sunday we got the girls ready and took them to a Trunk or Treat at a Christian School/Church. The girls scored there. They went around and trunk or treated to all sorts of vehicals, cars, boats, Rv's, and etc... We could of stopped and had enough candy. They got tons. But because its not the same we still took them out for the regular trick or treating with Leah and her family. It was tons of FUN! Now here comes the bad part having candy around...ha ha

ARGH! Don't mess with this Pirate!

I thought I would take a pic by the car since Justin's theme for the car shows is a Pirate theme.

Thats why the girls are here...CANDYLAND

Drug Free Week

The girls had drug free week last week at school. This was their list of activities

Monday-get bracelets and decorate the school
Tuesday- Wear hats for "Put a cap on drugs" and Jello eating contest. Chelsey won for her class!
Wednesday- Jersey day..work as team to beat drugs!
Thursday- wear all red. Ky and Chelsey's class won for their grades with the most red.
Friday was CHaracter day-dress up as a character *but you could NOT wear costumes until Harvest Festival. So my question is how do you dress up as a character without wearing a costume...Hmm. I tried to do what I could.
Here is Ky:

So Who is she???
Ky went as Hermione Granger from Harry Potter. I put on her outfit that looked like a school uniform, added a wand, a black jacket for her cloak, I printed off the Hogwarts Emblem and taped to her outfit, then frizzed out her hair...what do you think?
Chelsey was abit of a struggle. I thought she would make a good Jesse from Toy Story. But I guess that wasn't cool enough for her. After debating with her I just lost patience and said do whatever... She dressed up like Sharpay from Highschool musical. I still think she would of made an awesome Jesse..ha ha!

Harvest Festival

On Friday the school had their annual Harvest Festival after school. I went down there and got the girls and then helped set up for it. I spent 2 hrs helping getting everything ready then I got the girls in their costumes and Justin joined me at the school to enjoy it. Chelsey since she is in 5th grade and helping with the fundraisers for their science camp, I didn't see her alot. She was busy with her friends and also helping the 5th grade booth. But here is some pics of our fun time there and also what the girls looked like for it.
