GIRLS NIGHT OUT

Last week Angie's twin sister Marcie was in town. She has been wanting her layers fixed in her hair and trimmed up abit. So Thursday they came over and I got her hair all trimmed up and looking great for her. Afterwards they took me out for dinner to pay for the haircut. Angie, Marcie, and I enjoyed some awesome pasta at Olive Garden and then went to the mall to browse alittle bit. We had so much fun! Thanks girls for an awesome night out!

Issy took this pic of Marcie and I...cute huh!

Officers of Sunset

So yesterday we had our first Sunset meeting of the new year. We had our elections of who would be our officers for the year. It was pretty cool, Justin made Treasurer..which we kind of knew before. Los felt that the best person to take care of the clubs funds and books is someone who has to do it everyday for a family. So seems how most of the other guys are single.....Justin is responsable, and mature to take on the job. Then there was a surprise they voted to see who would be Historian and I got nominated..(by my hubby) and Bob our founder 2nd it and said ok. I just didn't think I could do it because technically I'm not a member. I don't have my own ride, and pay my own dues. But if the Founder of the club approves it...Well then guess i can. All it means is I have a real excuse to take pics at the events..ha ha. SO congrats to us :)

Our Accident

So the day of Chelsey's comp we were coming back from it..all happy because she took 2nd! Yay..right?? Well yeah we were all talking about the different teams and what her next instructor might be like and all of the sudden I look up to see an older ford pick up skidding back and forth and trying to stop. I alert Justin since he was distracted by talking to us and by the time he could stop...it was too late. We skidded back and forth and ended up hitting the ford. His bumper pushed up Justin's hood, broke the headlight and bent the fender. But just as we arew trying to focus on what just happened the ford doesn't even stop and he drives away taking out 2 cones to break into the fast track lane (which by the way is illegal). Well with no witnesses because they left as well, and the other guy leaving too..Justin checked his damage, made sure there wasn't anything leaking and we went home. The car is still drivable, and yes we have filed a report and called the insurance. So now we just wait to see what happens with it...Stayed tuned! Oh and we are all fine! No one got hurt and thats what counts.

Chelsey's Competition

On Saturday the 9th of Jan we went down to Long Beach for Chelsey's hip hop competition. This is her 2nd one so far. She is really enjoying it. She had to have her tank top, bright colored leggins, and her hair in a side ponytail to represent the 80's fashion. Her team did really well, they came home with 2nd place in their division. They are really happy and we are looking forward to maybe another session. Her instructor is leaving however...but that might be good. Justin and I didn't feel as if her whole heart was in it. Maybe a better instructor will take her place. CONGRATS to my girl!

Chelsey and her team. There was 2 other boys up until 2 weeks before the comp...I have no clue why they would drop out so close to the end....oh well. These 4 was awesome together

We borrowed some pink spray and glitter from one of the other moms. Plus a good shot of her side pony :) this was hard since her hair isn't very long

My lil hip hopper

80's bangs here we come...ha ha

Their final pose at the end of the dance

I thought this was cute even though the pic is blurry. Fingers crossed and Chelsey trying to see if they should run up to get their medal

Yay! 2nd place!!!

They are very proud of their medals. I caught Chelsey checking hers out

Isabella changed her name....

So the other day I was sitting here and Issy said to me "Mom I don't want to be Issybella anymore"
I said..Ok why not? Also what is your name?
She said..Call me Blue! Because I like it.
Well then she kept telling me to say "Blue" and ask her to do stuff like get me a fake drink or her pretend cupcakes. So I continued playing with her. But as we got ready to go get the girls from school, I said "Isabella go get your shoes".
She said" Mom my name is not Issybella, its Blue!"

Well its been 3 days now and unless she is moody or tired she insists on being called BLUE..or as she says is B-A-L-U-E. I guess Isabella just isn't interesting enough anymore....

This New years we went out to our friends Kris and Aj's house in Palm Springs. We got together with our close group of friends and decided that what we needed to do to make sure 2010 was awesome is by starting awesome! Kris and Aj sure know how to entertain. Aj made some yummy food, and there was games, rock band and all sorts for the kids. The adults I think we just enjoyed having some yummy beverages....ha ha and socializing. We make our own fun! So here is a look into our New Years!

Goodbye to 2009...Hello 2010!!

Happy New Years Everyone!! Well we finally did it, we made it through 2009! Justin and I have really enjoyed this past year. We have been lucky with our financial area..Justin's job is still safe even after the economy took a nose dive. Some how people are still building...yay! We have been with Sunset Car Club for a year now and love every minute of it with my boys. The girls have all been healthy and enjoyed their year. Chelsey started Hip hop and has been doing very well in it. 4th grade seems a little harder, but overall alot better than 3rd grade for her and us. Ky has enjoyed Kindergarten and Issy just loves being at home with me. We added Tinkerbell to the family and we enjoy her very much. We took a sudden trip out in Feb for the passing away of my Grandma Bagley. It is very hard to not have her around and we miss her so much. But I know she is enjoying her time in Heaven with Grandpa Bagley. Then we went back to Utah in May for my little sister's graduation from h.s. I am so Proud of her and her many accomplishments. We've had family come and see us...which is always nice. Enjoyed some fun down in San Diego visiting family as well. The friends that we have gained this past year...priceless! I don't know what my life would be like w/o the friends we have now. Thank you everyone for making our 2009 great. Now hopefully 2010 will be even BETTER!!!

It is going to be filled with some big dates to celebrate. Justin and I both turn the big 30 this year, we celebrate 10 wonderful years of marriage, Chelsey will turn 10, and Issy 5! But we can't forget Ky's big part this year..she will start her first year of a full day school...1st grade in August!! So many things to celebrate and before we know it will be right back where we are now ringing in another year...ha ha
