A LONG 24 HOURS

Yesterday was a very BAD day! I woke up to Justin calling me at 7:15 and telling me he was in alot of pain in his lower left stomach. So I called and talked the nurse line and we decided to go to urgent care. After sitting in Urgent care for 3 hrs and doing all sorts of lab tests and xrays they decided he had the stomach flu. So we went home to have him rest. Well he had noticed his joints in his legs had started to hurt. But he figured it was from regular arthritis. After a couple hours they really kicked in and he was in real pain. He lasted through the day but was very uncomfortable. We also noticed a small patch on the back of his left thigh that had heat coming from it and a small rash appearing. I put some benadryl on it thinking that would help. Justin tried to go to bed and came out 45 mins later so there is no way and just in shear pain. So we called yet again to the nurse line and they told him to go to the ER. After talking to my mom who has been in the health care field for a long time and getting more advice from her. Justin finally went down at midnight. An hour later he was home...they found out that he had the early stage of an infection that most likely came from some sort of bite from a spider or something that he reacted to. Finally after 1:30am we both got to bed. I am so tired and I am sure Justin is even more than me. I'm hoping we are on the down slope of all this and we can enjoy our 4th of July weekend.

Fathers Day

I know I am a little behind in my blogging. For Fathers day We kept it low key. We stayed at home and spent the day together as a family. The girls and I made Justin breakfast in the morning. We made his favorite..sausage, biscuits and gravy. It was yummy. Then the remainder of the day we watched movies, had popcorn and just relaxed together. For dinner we bbq'ed some steak, had potatoes and baked beans. The girls had made a Big Cookie for their dad at the grocery store. So that was our dessert.

Issy is adding the outline to the cookie

Chelsey decorating the cookie putting the "I love you" on.

Kylee is adding some hearts to it

The end result...

Daddy and his girls. Justin does so much for his family and I hope he knows how much we love him. He is an amazing dad to his gorgeous little girls and should have Fathers Day every single day. We love you Hun!

Ky and Coach Lizzy!

So this last weekend Kylee had her hip hop competition in Long Beach. We wasn't really sure how well the kids were going to do. Because this was a short session anyway..only 9 weeks long and during the middle of it Coach Sandy had to move. So they gave the kids a new coach. Only problem is they also got a new routine. They had to learn a new dance in 4weeks. Plus 2 of those 4 weeks were evaluations and awards. So they weren't even normal classes. Lizzy came in and she was fun, spunky, energectic, but that also meant their dance was very fast paced for 6 yr olds. But the kids got it..some how.

They got down to competiton and ended up taking 1st place. I was amzed because this time all the other classes really did suck. Also if they seemed like they had it together they were doing very basic very slow routines. So who do the judges give it to... The kids who did difficult routines and were a little off or the kids who did easy routines and were together?? Looks like they went with the first option. Ky did a fantastic job. I've really enjoyed watching my girls grow in dance and also being able to help them as Parent Helper to the coach. Chelsey will join back with hip hop for this summer session and come August we will have another competition.
