Christmas 2009

We had a very nice Christmas this year. The girls didn't really ask for something so Santa's job was a little different. But they all were very happy with what they got. They woke up around 7am and came and got us. Then we went in and opened gifts. The girls played with their stuff. Justin and I started our traditonal Christmas breakfast of sweet rolls and eggnog or hot chocolate. After wards we of course made phone calls to family and wished everyone a Merry Christmas. We then got ready and one of our gifts was a gift card from Justin's dad and his wife. So we took the family out to see The Squeekal of the Chipmunks. The girls absolutely loved it. I think its a great family movie and my 3 sat and watched them the whole time and didn't move or make a sound. It was great! Afterwards we came home and finished getting ready to head up to Kevin and Amy's for Christmas dinner. We enjoyed our time up there as always. Kevin made a yummy turkey with all the works. We finished it off with cookies, fudge, and mini cheesecakes. The kids played and the adults watched movies. It was a great day and I am very blessed for the friends and family we have and also for our good fortunes in life. I hope everyone else's was great as well. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Chelsey got new bedding from Santa. She is all glamored out in zebra and pink leopard. But she loves it! She also got new leggings from Santa as well.

Issy got a baby set. It was like a 5 piece set for her doll. She has enjoyed it very much.

Here she is looking for everything that comes with it.

Kylee is all Tinkered out. She got her Tinkerbell Teapot house and some new Tinkerbell dishes for her play kitchen. The girls also received a wide variety of coloring books, and crayons.

Boots from Grandma Beth was a big plus for Chelsey.

Yep that finished it off.....The family gave Chelsey and I a New Moon game :)
The girls also got new clothes, p.j.'s, shoes, more toys, candy, and some gift money to spend. We enjoyed a nice game of Pictureka from Grandma Corinne and we love it. All of us can play and Issy loves to be included with the game. We also have played alot of Memory as well. Since Issy got two different versions one for Christmas and one for her Birthday. We are excited to try out our Big Top Cupcake that Grandma Corinne gave us as well....Should make for another great post. Thanks everyone for everything and making our year a great one! Love you!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was alot of fun. We hung out around the house, the girls played Santa and were so excited for Christmas morning. Then we had our friend Los stop by to say hi before he headed off to his Christmas Eve plans. We enjoyed a yummy meal, played some games with the girls, and tracked Santa! Then to finish it off we got the girls ready for bed and also everything ready for Santa to come

Walk the Lights with =Sunset=

So Los told us about this neighborhood in Chino that decorates for Christmas. They go all out and every year it has ended up being this big "Walk the lights of Chino" tradition. So we all got together and headed over there, and walked through them. The houses was so pretty and the girls enjoyed it so much. It was so mcuh fun to do something with the club and also get some more Christmas spirit inside us :)

Issy with Bobby "Funsize" The girls love him and have added him to the family as their brother. So now he has become our adopted son :) You should see Ky and him..they are hilarious to watch. Just like real brother and sister..ha ha

Kylee and Chelsey get an award

So on the 17th of Dec. I went to the school and watched Chelsey preform for her awards assembly. They went on first and then after they had the awards part. Well normally the Kindergarten isn't included so I grabbed Issy and went home instead of watching the awards part. Little to my knowledge...Kylee got an award for perfect attendance. Yep..and I missed her first award!! Not only that but then they had their second awards assembly for upper classmen...Chelsey's grade and 5th. Yep you guessed it...Chelsey got one too. So Mother of the year award goes to......... Not me..ha ha

I took a pic of Ky and her award but Chelsey left hers at school. So when she returns after winter break I will get one of her too.

Chelsey's Christmas Choir Performance

Ok so now that Christmas is over with...ha ha...back to blogging. Chelsey has been singing with her school choir every Monday after school. So on the 15th of Dec. she had a Christmas Program. She did a very good job and had alot of fun with it. I wasn't able to download the video of her so I will just post the pics instead. She also sand during the awards assemblies for the school too. She will continue with this ending it in March with their Music festival. She has enjoyed it and I am very happy with her teachers. My Isabella turns 4!

So on Sunday Issy turned 4! She had an awesome two days of fun. Saturday we threw her a party with our friends. It rained all day so we kept it inside, but we still had fun. Justin of course made pizza, we had Nachos for an appetizer..and then the Cake and ice cream to top it off. The kids played games like Pin the tail on the Donkey, Twister, and Hungry hungry hippos. Issy received alot of great gifts and cards from friends and family. She is in Tinkerbell and Cinderella Heaven now. Thats her two favorite things. So it was only appropriate that she had a costume change. She started out as Cinderella and then half way through got a Tinkerbell dress as a gift and changed! She was so estactic. It was an awesome party.

Sunday we had a Charity car show we do every year for Childrens Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). Santa was there and gave her a big hug and said Happy Birthday. Afterwards she wanted to go to Chili's for her b-day dinner. We had them sing to her and she received a free birthday shake. She is all excited now for Christmas and can't wait for next years birthday already...ha ha ha. Thanks everyone for helping her celebrate her b-day ♥

Hard day

Well after 2.5 years..Kylee is going through her Alopecia again. This morning I sent Chelsey off to school. I proceeded on with my morning of chores, and put Ky and Issy in the tub. I came to wash her hair and noticed she had a clump of hair hanging down her shoulder. My thought was..Oh no I know her hair isn't that long. Sure enough I went and looked at where it was coming from and her first two patches are already starting. The hair she lost had gotten clumped up and twisted in the rest of her hair. So I got it free and Ky noticed...She said "Mom why did you pull out my hair"? I told her I didn't but that her spots had come back. We both had a few tears together. She is older now and understands things a little more. So she began questioning, Why don't Chelsey and Issy go through this?, Why is it just me?, Mom my hair just got long!, and then she said Mom please just leave it long. So I told her honey we won't cut it short this time. (Last time her hair was very thin and unhealthy so I cut it shorter to make it look fuller and better). But this time her hair is healthier and longer. She then remembered she had to go to school and told me she didn't want her hair in ponytails anymore and just wanted it to hang down so no one could see. Its deffinantly a hard thing to watch your daughter process and go through it. But as always Ky put a smile on her face and said Ok just put a bow in it and I'll be ok. She is such a little trooper. I am hoping that just like last time it won't get too bad and then within 2 months it will start the growing back stage. Which is right in time for her 6th b-day. Cross your fingers everyone and keep our little Ky in your thoughts and prayers that this will just go away again like last time...

Decorating for Christmas

So every year that day after Thanksgiving I get up and go and do my black friday shopping. Then I come home nap alittle and then get up and the family decorates for Christmas. We put up the tree and decorate the house and then try and get to the outside..ha ha. The family enjoys it so much. We also put on christmas songs starting off with the Chipmunks Christmas CD..this is a tradition for Justin's mom Corinne that she passed onto us.

Here we are starting out the tree and getting it set up.

First layer...done

Issy found my santa hat. We also all have a santa hat! Well we need to buy a new one for Issy. Hers is too small this year.

Getting our blue lights set up..sorry its a little blurry.
