My Baby is growing up

So Today I registered Kylee for Kindergarten. I thought at first things were going to be postponed. I had her physical scheduled for today and finish up registration tomorrow. But at lunch the Drs called and cancelled all routine and health check-ups. Only people who were sick were being seen, and even at that its for really sick cases. This Swine Flu has thrown abunch of stuff off. Now to me it seems like everyone is blowing things out of perportion. But Oh well. So I went down to the school explained what happned with her physical, showed them her app. card showing she had one scheduled. They said due to the epidemic..they were still allowing registration and when the physical gets done bring in the paperwork from it. So there we are...My Kylee will be starting Kindergarten in the fall. She is super excited and can't wait. I of course will miss her, but will also enjoy alittle bit of the quietness in my home. Its not all the way quiet though...we still have Isabella to go.

Spring Fling Car Show

Sunday was our annual Spring FLing Mopar car show. We have attended this every year for the last 4 yrs and it is always a nice relaxing show. Its held out in Van Nuys at a park. So the kids get to play on nice grass the whole time. We always pack a cooler of food, snacks and drinks. The old mopars are really fun to look at, but Justin always gets great reactions on his ride as well from the old mopar guys. One guy even remembered him from last year and told him the car has come along way and looking really awesome. Justin was so happy. They judged the show a little different this year. Instead of doing a placing value, they gave the top 4 or 5 best in each class a really nice plaque.

Chelsey went and got Justin's plaque for him.

Here Comes The Bride....

On Saturday we were invited to help celebrate the marriage of our friends Alicia and John. Its been an interesting story between these two. A little over one year ago Alicia, and Angie went down to be in their sister Marcie & Ray's wedding. (Alicia however is a step-sister to Marcie and Angie) Well while down there Alicia met Ray's brother John.... And it was love at first sight! After that everything became a whirlwind. So a year later here we are. The wedding was great. They had it at a country club. The ceremony was outside and it was a nice mild day. Then they moved everything inside. We had a nice wedding dinner, and then moved into the reception. The girls really enjoyed themselves. It was a small private wedding. Just a couple of their closer friends and family. Here is some pics from the wedding

Memories of Line Dancing

Our friend Angie has family in town for a family members wedding. Angie's twin sister Marcie came a little early and stayed here at the house with us to spend some time with Angie. It has been fun just hanging out with the girls, chatting away, and watching chick flicks. Well Angie and Marcie used to go country dancing all the time when they were younger. So when Marcie came into town we decided to head out and bring up old memories. They got to go back to their old stompin' grounds and I got to country line dance again. Wow! I haven't done that in YEARS! The last time I went line dancing was right as I was beginning to date Justin. SO at least 9-10yrs ago. We had so much fun. Sitting at the table having some chips and salsa and watching all the other dances as well as going out everytime we recognized a line dance. I tell you what though...that is some excersize. Angie and I might make it a monthly thing just to get a fun workout in..ha ha. We even planned that we would learn new line dances and then when Marcie comes back out to visit, we would teach her some new tricks. I had so much fun. I should of gotten a picture of us. But I didn't want to deal with a camera..or purse for that matter. Oh well..tomorrow we have Alicia's wedding and we will get the chance to dance there. I will take some pictures then.

Juvenile Diabetes Charity Car Show

Yesterday we attended a car show that was a charity event for juvenile diabetes. It was a great show. It was at a park in Ontario, and the playground was only 500ft away from where our car was parked. So the kids got to play and I didn't have to be away from our little car area the whole time watching them. We had 6 members show up to particpate and 3 of us walked away with trophies. Justin was one of them. He walked away with "Best Under Construction" and thr trophy is awesome. Its a bronze statue of an american eagle on top of a kind of rolled up flag. One of Justin's coolest trophies! So all in all..a great day and we walked away a little sunkissed..lol

The Six of the rides from Sunset!
Los's truck, Justin's car and Red's truck!

This was such an awesome little corvette...Justin said it was a "kit" car. But I loved it. What a gorgeous car!

Spring Cleaning and Froggy Pools

So this last week I have been spring cleaning. I have the two main rooms left to do..Kitchen and living room...yuck! But at least now most of the house is clean and sorted through. I even got Justin to go through some boxes with me, that we cart from one house to the next everytime we move..and there they sit in the garage. It was nice! Saturday we got our weekend shopping done and then went outisde and enjoyed the sun. I bought a little froggy pool for Issy last fall on clearance and decided it was warm enough to pull out. The kids all squeeshed in there to cool off. It's the cutest little pool. I am sure the kids will enjoy it and their slip n slide all summer long. Hope you enjoy the pics..

Issy found a friend....

She was not about to put this lady bug down...

Isn't that the cutest pool....

My 3 little girls all cramped in there...

Justin said...Look my little tadpoles...ha ha..
