Kylee turned 6 on friday. So for her birthday she wanted to get her ears pierced. I have told my girls when they really want to get them done and take the responsability for them then I will let them do it. So....da da da..she has decided she is ready.

Marking her ears for the holes

There is a small purple dot there...soon to be a earing

They shot her all at once. So that she didn't have to feel the pain twice. All she said was "Ouch" and then I said you are done. She said..Oh ok! That was it..no tears or anything. She is a tough little chick

Valentines Day

So for Valentines day we spent the weekend at home. We've done so much the last couple weeks and will do so much the next 2 months that we kept it nice and calm. Plus we couldn't get a babysitter..ha ha. Justin gave me a beautiful bouque of hugs n' kisses tullips and lillies. They are gorgeous. I gave him a card and his favorite Monster Lo-Carb 4 pack drink. Justin had 4 dates for Valentines this year. We went and tried a new mexican restaraunt called Ancho's. It was pretty good. The girls got all dressed up and pretty for their dad.

Valentine Yummies from Grandma Corinne

Grandma Corinne always sends out the cutest packages. This Valentines she sent out three different packages of mixes to make. Pink pancakes with choc. chips, red velvet cupcakes, and sugar cookies with pink icing. The girls and I had a blast baking all day yesterday. Although the frosting didn't quite turn out perfect..we made due. Thanks Grandma Corinne.

Santa Monica

Last weekend Justin and I got the chance to have an over night get away to Santa Monica. It was really nice, sort of an early Valentines. Our friend Angie watched the girls for us, and brought her niece Brittany over to stay as well. While there we met up with some friends from Ventura county. We live 2 hrs apart and so we don't get to spend much time together. We agreed to meet half way and just have a little night away from the kids and hang out. It was alot of fun and very relaxing. We got up there mid-saturday and checked in to our hotel. We stayed at a Days Inn....oh boy was that a trip. This place was a little on the weird side. They had the room number tiled into the bathroom floors. Like seriously is the hotel room going to lose the bathroom..ha ha. Then it was on to play the game how many room numbers can you find. You found the room number everywhere throughout the place. Their "fitness room" was 3 station bikes in an outcove of the hallway. It was just hilarious, not a bad place..just weird! We walked the Santa Monica promenade, and ate a hole in the wall bbq joint. Sunday we woke up and had some breakfast and then went to Santa Monica Pier. It was a very nice and relaxing quick get away.

I had to sit at Forest Gumps bench next to his chocolates and suitcase. After all I am "Jenny"..ha ha. Notice the shoes and feather on them. This was outside Bubba Gump restaurant.

This was a memorial that a veterans group put up for the many men and women we have lost in Irag war. It was a very emotional site. They had listed that if they were to put up a cross for every Iraqi killed the whole beach would be filled up.

Santa Monica!

Our friend Victor and I was watching the fisherman below us. Most of the fish we saw caught were pretty small.

Justin and our friend Miki kickin' it on the bench

Victor and Miki had showed me that they live all the way across where you see the homes and bulidings in the background. That would be quite the swim home

Justin playing Zoltar...feel like we are in the movie "Big". Is my hubby going to become a little boy again, since he's already a grown man..ha ha
