Back to School
Sorry everyone, I've been a little busy with the girls and getting them back into a school routine and such. I know I haven't blogged a whole lot lately. The girls are back in school and doing great so far. Chelsey started Middle school this year and is in 6th grade. She likes it. She has 4 teachers that she moves between for classes and seems to really like all of them. She has already had her first school dance. That was quite the drama week.. But overall doing really great!
Kylee is in 2nd grade with Mrs. Mantz as her teacher this year. She has actually had a rough start to her year. There has been a few changes to her routine that she has had the last couple years. Her older sister is no longer with her at school, and she lost 2 really good friends that moved away. So her little world got a little turned upside down. Also after the first couple weeks she started complaining of not liking school, and not wanting to go anymore. This was strange for Ky. So I kept asking her questions. She finally told me she was sitting between two boys that wanted to copy her work and she wouldn't let them. Then they teased her for not letting them. She had already tried to talk to the teacher herself, but the teacher ignored her request to move. So I went one morning and helped out in the classroom and also addressed the issue to the teacher. She immediately felt bad for not listening to Kylee and moved her to a better spot in the classroom. She kept apologizing for the problem. I think we have solved all the problems so far and she is enjoying school once again.
Isabella started KINDERGARTEN!!! Thats right I am kid free during the day now..ha ha. She has Mrs. Laurino and is in the extended kinder program. This is a class that they are trying for the second year now. It keeps certain kids that are older or have been to preschool for and another 1.5 hrs. She has really enjoyed it so far and is making lots of new friends.
As for me, that left with with a lot of changes myself. My oldest in Middle School, my youngest in Kinder. I am now looking for a part time job and have taken on watching a couple little girls a couple times a week. Here are a couple pics of my girls on the first day of school

Relay for life
A couple weeks ago Justin, the girls, and I attended the Relay for life walk. A friend of ours has cancer and we walked in support of Him. Justin and i were very proud of ourselves we walked 2 hours which we figured out to be 7 minutes a quarter of a mile each lap. We estimated it was about 20 laps around. So right around 5 miles altogether. The 2 older girls walked some laps with us as well, as Issy hung back at Camp Sanctified with the other Team members. Were glad we could do this for you Jeff!
Brittany and Donny's wedding
At the end of July we attended two of our Sunset members wedding. Brittany and Donny aka.. Spears and Timberlake got married in Yucaipa, Ca. We had so much fun at the wedding and wish them the best in life together. We also had 3 of our members in their wedding party Mouse, Los, and Wayne.

2nd Week in Utah
We left Julie's house on Saturday the 18th and headed up to Oakley to my brother Kyle's house. We did make a short stop for lunch date with David, Arlene and Lauryn in Herriman. It was so great to see them and we miss them like crazy! Next time will deffinantly have to make more time with them. Their new house is so nice and fits them very well. We had sub sandwiches and topped it off with ice cream :) Then we said our goodbyes and continued on our way. While in Summit county we spent the time with my family. My brother and his family, Kyle, My Mom and Brittany. We swam at the Summit County Rec Center alot and the kids had sleepovers with their cousins. I met Brittany in Orem for her 21st Birthday and ended it with a evening out at the park. Saturday the 25th we headed home, not without stopping in Moroni for a final goodbye to Brittany, and then again in St. George to see my Dad and Elaine. The trip was so much fun, and I really enjoyed the girls most of all getting to know their cousins more. I also helped Kyle fix his Kitchen Faucet that was leaking. Oh boy was that fun playing Tim the Toolman! We got it fixed though. I can say I officially helped install a brand new Kitchen faucet for my brother.
Happy 21st Birthday to the most Amazing Little sister on this planet! I love you Brittany and so glad we got to spend the day together..Just you n me!
The McArthur Cousins minus 2. Zak and Kaylee are both missing. But the younger cousins had such a blast together!
My two brothers and I. Missing Brittany! My mom said "Im always missing a girl, usually its Jennivee".
Uncle Kyle and Chelsey! He loved spending time with his nieces! Kylee sure gave him a run for his money tho!
The girls last night campin at Uncle Kyle's house! It sure was fun! Thanks Kyle and Mom for taking us in and making our 2nd week great!
As we headed home we had some unfinished business to do..... We were all suppose to get together for Brittany's B-day down in St. George but for some reason God decided it was not such a good time for this, and made sure that not ONE but TWO cars weren't working. So I told my mom I would stop and see Brittany and give her, her cake! We bought a small little cute piece of cake and put candles in it. Then the 3 of us sang to Auntie Brittany for her 21st Birthday! I hope she enjoyed it, I know she wanted more! But alas Happy Birthday to Britt.
We stopped and saw Granny Great and Grandpa Royal as well. The girls miss thier Granny great so much! This was the only Great grandparent they knew from my side.
We ended it with stopping in St. George for a late lunch with my Dad and visit at Elaine's house. She had this wolf statue that the girls couldn't help resist getting a picture with. We had so much and enjoyed every minute of our trip minus the bad luck with the vehicals. Love you all...See ya next time!
Princess Festival
So apart of our first week in Utah we attended the Princess Festival at Thanksgiving Point. My mother in law Corinne as you all know is an awesome seamstress. Well for the past couple years she has been doing costumes and such for Ron Hadfield and his Princess Festival. She has always wanted the girls to go, and we never got our schedule worked out to go. But this year it just sort of fell together. Ron Hadfield puts this event on as well as others for different charities and such including his own called "In our own quiet way". He helps with the people in Kenya and all sorts of other charities. The kids get to dress up and come to this event and meet all sorts of Princesses, and Princes etc. There are little skits put on telling the different stories of the Princesses. There is places to get their hair, nails, and make-up done...including face painting. As well as crafts to do for chairities. The girls had so much fun and like always their Grandma made their beautiful costumes for the event. If you have a little girl and live in the Utah/SLC county area I suggest you look into it next year.
The kids watching the Cinderella play. You can see Issy, Ky, Taylor the knight, and Katie watching it.
Tinkerbell signing Issy's book! Another one of her favorites. I'm telling you Issy made sure she got just about everyone to autograph her book!
Another craft to giving back to the community. The girls and Grandma Corinne making Bookmarks for Utah Foster Care Program
And of course Princess Cinderella! They had such ablast and loved every minute of it. Thanks so much Grandma Corinne for taking us to it! Also...Thanks for making their gorgeous dresses!
