Last Friday justin was laid off from his job of 5.5 years. He had been feeling like something wasn't quite right. He was worried, and I kept trying to pull his spirits up and not let things get the best of him. Well he left for work, and just like what he had thought, his boss called him in to his office. There stood the V.P. and his supervisor. They both said the day would be hard and Justin agreed with them. They proceeded to tell him that they have tried everything to keep him. But the company is not doing so well. They finally had to let him go. So now here we are, in a world of unemployment. We both have been looking very hard for a job. But nothing yet. I am trying to do everything I can to help keep Justin's spirits up. I feel so bad and we both feel so useless at this point. His number one thing is being able to provide for his family, so right now he is fighting to not be depressed about it. I sit and wonder, where is this going to take us? Are we going to be able to stay here? Will we have to move, and if so where? Will this ultimately take us back to Utah? I've had nightmares of having to say goodbye to the family we have formed here. We have so many great friends, that it would deffinantly be very hard to do. But at the same time if it did take us back to Utah my kids might actually be able to grow up with their relatives around them. My other concerns are what happens if we don't find something soon? What will we do?
The uncertainty is what is killing Justin and I.

New Year, New Start
Well I'm absolutely geared this year to live my life alot more healthier. I know everyone says it. But I've been working really hard since August of last year. Although due to all the rain and cold weather my walking in the mornings stopped. But I pulled out my Biggest Loser dvd's and I'm continuing on until it gets warmer. I am also looking for something fun that I can pull up maybe online for Chelsey and I to do together. Something that isn't too hard for her, but still excersize. If anyone has any suggestions, please leave a comment for me. Thank you :)

New Years 2011
This New Years Eve we had small group of friends come over. Its what we call "Our Group". Of course we were missing the Potts Family who is normally included in that group. We had a great time, we all contributed to some yummy food. Mostly we just enjoyed each others company and brang in the New Year together. It was so much fun. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have this group of friends out here in California. They have become our little California family. Here is to a Happy and Exciting 2011!
Here is to another year with the man of my life. 11 years and even more in love than the first year.
My girls..ha ha even Tink decided to join in the picture. This was not planned. Look at thier cute new years outfits.
Gorgeous!
Chelsey all excited for a brand new year
Issy loving her noise maker...Thanks Ang!
Best Friends- If it wasn't for meeting Ang we wouldn't have met Kris and Aj and then Alki. Kris and Alki have known each other since high school. Its crazy how we have all met each other and added certain people to the group and we all click so well! Many fun times with these 3!
Christmas Morning
This Christmas I actually had to wake up my girls..ha ha. The plan was to go out by 7am. So I set my alarm thinking I won't need it but oh well. Yeah I was more awake and stir crazy than my girls. I woke up Justin... which did not make him happy. His reply " Are you seriously waking me up before the girls have even woken up?!"
Yep of course I did...ha ha. We got everything ready and proceeded out to the Living room. The girls enjoyed their Christmas. They got alot of great gifts, and thank you so much to those who sent something out to them. They loved all their gifts!!! Then while the girls played I cooked a family breakfast favorite called Ableskiver (doesn't sound like it is spelled) Its a danish dish that my grandma passed on to us. Basically they are like small pancake balls. Tastes just a little different though. You can also make them as a dessert. After that we got ready and went to our friends home for a Christmas Dinner. It was such a great day and I love Christmas so much! I'm so thankful that we are able to celebrate it with our family and friends.
Chelsey's big gift from Santa was a flat iron, and Blow dryer. She is growing up and now starting her own bathroom collection. She also got headphones, jewelry, shoes, clothes, toys and etc.. She loved her christmas
Issy had a Barbie Christmas. Santa brought her a Barbie car and also Ky and her got an assortment of Barbie furniture for their Barbie House. She also got lots of great things. The biggest thing is 2 days after she got her cast removed and finally able to wear all these cute clothes that everyone has given her... That makes for a Happy Mom!
Sneaking into her sock
Not sure why Ky is giving loves... but I thought it was cute! Ky received the Barbie furniture as well as an Art Eisel from Santa. She also got lots of gifts from Barbies, toys, clothes, and much more.
So I found this shirt and thought of Ky! As many of you know she can win a guys heart over very fast. Between her cute little face and awesome personality... She does have a little boy at school that she likes. So I thought..it fits. It says recess Flirt : Meet me by the swings when the bell rings.
Ky opening up her earrings from Mom and Dad.
A tangled shirt that Issy got from Aunt Britty
So the girls love Tinkerbell, and they each have their fairy that they think is them. Well last year Ky and Issy bought their Fairies with some christmas money. Issy is Tink, Ky is Silver mist and Chelsey is Rosetta. But we couldn't find a Rosetta for her.. Well Aunt Julie found her one this year :) She loved it and now they all have their fairies!
Aunt Julie also sent the girls a princess Barbie! They loved them.

I want to say that without so many of my family and friends Christmas wouldn't have been as great this year. Justin took a pay cut at Thanksgiving and made it very difficult for us in the month of December. But through out many people were very generous and reached their hands out to help. I know Christmas is not about how many presents is under the tree, but what really spoke is how people really cared to make this a good christmas for the girls. With that being said we had 2 bigger items that were given. After Issy broke her arm, a friend that we gained while on our cruise text me out of the blue and asked about how we were doing and how issy was. I replied and she said she had been seeing all the posts on facebook and wondered. Then she said I have noticed how much you love your girls, and what you are willing to do for them. You guys are great parents and Brian(her boyfriend) and I would like to give something back to you. They work at Disneyland and said that sometime in 2011 they will get us in for free. I about cried, actually I did..ha ha. That was so thoughtful and made my day. We told the girls on Christmas about it and they loved it! Thank you Brian and Cindy!
#2 Grandpa Jim and Teresa let us know that they were sending out a gift card to Toys r us for the girls. It was a good size amount. So Justin got to thinking, that he had some christmas money and with the card, and the girls christmas money from their great grandpa they could pull altogether and get a Wii. The girls were estatic! We love the Wii! I just to finish off again by saying how Thankful I am to have the people in my life that I do. My family is extremely blessed to have each and every one of you! Merry Christmas!
Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve, our friend Brandon from the car club started out the festivities by stopping by and having the girls open presents from him. They loved their gifts :) Then we continued the night with a great dinner. Limpy's mom gave us a Turkey. So we had a scrumpticous meal. Finally of course the girls opened their christmas eve gift. Which was their traditional christmas p.j.'s and got the cookies and milk ready for Santa. It was a nice relaxing day at home and prepared us for Santathe next day. The girls tracked Santa online up until they went to bed.
Ky and Issy with their =SunSet= jackets. Ky wouldn't take hers off... notice she has it on with her p.j.'s a few pics down...ha ha
=SunSet= Chelsey wanted her own jacket for so long. Now she has one, thanks to Brandon aka Green-Go

Christmas Choir Concert
At home before her preformance!
At the concert.
On December 15th, Chelsey preformed with her school choir for their christmas concert. She looked so gorgeous that night and has deffinantly gotten better than last year. She really tried this year. It was cute and fun to watch. This year instead of doing the Elfinator they did the Grinch. SO CUTE! The librian dressed up as the grinch and Mrs. Herrera and her went through a skit of it.
