Kylee and Issy showing off their baskets. Chelsey was still looking for hers. The Easter Bunny hides them every year.
The kids hunting for plastic easter eggs at Kevin and Amy's house.
Issy was so happy..she was finding them real fast!
All the kids with their baskets afterwards. Sarah came away with 35 eggs, Issy with 31, Chelsey with 21, Nick with 19, and Ky with 19.
We had a great Easter this year. We started by coloring eggs on saturday morning. Then sunday we woke up, and the girls hunted for their baskets. Issy's was behind the family tv, Kylee's was hanging up in the coat closet, and Chelsey's was in our broom closet hiding. It took her 3 attempts to finally see it in there under a sheet...silly bunny!
Then Justin made a nice breakfast with Ham, eggs, and hashbrowns. It was delicious. Our friends Kevin and Amy invited us to their home for Easter dinner. Amy made Enchilada's and her spanish rice...mmmm! Then I took care of desserts, making choc. cookies with peanut butter chips, and also scotcharoo's. They turned out so yummy! Even Kevin a non rice-krispy fan loved them, once he figured out they weren't made with marshmellows and had butterscotch in them.
We also held an easter egg hunt for the kids. They all enjoyed that. Then we let the kids play, and the adults watched some movies, and chatted. It was so much fun to be up there with them, and have them invite us up there for Easter. I know I have said it before, but our friends have become very important to us out here. They make the holidays alittle less hard with having no family here to share it with. We love our friends! Hope everyone had a great Holiday!

Wow! They found a lot of eggs! We hid 12 eggs for two nieces, but we hid them in 3 rounds. Happy Easter!
